Every day, the American Red Cross responds to emergencies down the street... across the country... around the globe. It may be half a million devastated disaster victims or individuals in our community, anxious to learn the lifesaving skills of CPR and first aid.

Few Americans are untouched by the Red Cross services - all made possible by our dedicated volunteers. They are the ones who wear the Red Cross emblem - beloved symbol of hope and help. They come from all walks of life. They're all ages. Everyone has something special to offer... including you. All new volunteers are required to complete a background check and attend a volunteer orientation.
